Overview

Debt.Help is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level Sales Representative to support our Debt.Help team. Debt.Help is a premier customer-service focused Debt Relief company helping consumers get out of overly-burdensome financial situations. Our Sales Representatives are our customers first and final contact for a process that involves education, personal financial reviews and analyses, recommendations, and program enrollment. This job is considered a sales position, but advisement and financial services are at the heart of what makes Debt.Help different.

 

      What You’ll Do:

  • Speak with inbound leads and assist them in understanding our debt relief programs
  • Guide clients through financial assessments and recommend customized solutions
  • Follow up with potential clients from direct mail, social media, and referral channels
  • Meet performance targets and maintain accurate records of client interactions
  • Advance into a full Account Executive role within 60–90 days (training provided)
  • Collaborate with teammates and managers to continually improve performance

 

Responsibilities

  • 80% on the phone with clients, 20% training and processing.
  • Day 60-90, minimum close ratio required
  • Closing deals - 40%
  • Following up from Facebook/direct mail leads - 40%
  • Contract work and pipeline management - 10%
  • Team building and training - 10%
  • Identify and cultivate interest in Debt Relief Services.
  • Qualify leads and move forward in Sales process.
  • Maintain a professional and persuasive communication style.
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly call and transfer goals.
  • Participate in feedback sessions to improve performance.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls.
  • Ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Prior experience in sales, telemarketing, or business development is preferred but not required.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.

 Debt.help Role Qualifications:

  • Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis.
  • Attain and maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions.
  • Take constructive feedback.
  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with CA law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. Base rate for position starts at $40,000 annually. Role is eligible for uncapped commissions and bonuses which bring total average compensation your first year to $90,000 to $120,000 annually. The top 20% of the team can make up to $140,000 to $160,000.
